Since 2000, he has gained work experience with several smaller telecom providers. Entrepreneurship had been calling him for a while, and after a few start-up attempts that didn’t take off, he co-founded his first company in 2007, Teleena, with partners. Teleena served anyone who wanted to launch a mobile service under their own brand. There, he focused primarily on the operational and technical aspects of the business. It was an unforgettable experience with many unique propositions, sales offices in three countries, and a diverse workforce representing over 21 nationalities.

Between 2014 and 2019, he served as the Chief Technology Officer at Simpel.nl, during which Simpel, with a small team, grew from 240,000 to over one million customers.

Since late 2019, he has returned to entrepreneurship by collaborating with software developers and exploring new technologies. His particular interest lies in markets involving subscriptions and transactions, such as telecom, payments, and energy. The importance and rapid growth of sustainable energy production, where the focus is more on volume and less on smart applications, led to the establishment of Encast in 2021
